Biomedical Bonding AB recently showcased Bonevolent™ to 15 orthopaedic surgeons at the orthopaedic trauma unit at Karolinska University Hospital, marking our first engagement of this scale with the surgical trauma community.
The session, led by Michael Malkoch, combined a technical walkthrough with a hands-on demonstration, allowing surgeons to directly apply the composite and observe its intraoperative behaviour.
A key outcome from the interaction was the shift in discussion from feasibility to integration, with surgeons from different subspecialties bringing diverse perspectives on where the technology could be applied. This transition reflects growing clinical relevance and provides important direction for ongoing development.
We thank Paul Ackermann for initiating and hosting this engagement, and for facilitating a constructive clinical dialogue.
This milestone supports our continued efforts to align Bonevolent™ with real surgical practice through close collaboration with clinicians.
We look forward to continuing these engagements and further refining Bonevolent™ through close collaboration with the surgical community.
