Stockholm, Sweden, 30 October 2026. Biomedical Bonding AB (BMB) has made its first commercial sale of Bonevolent® AdhFix and signed an exclusive distribution agreement for Italy with an established Italian medical technology distributor. Both milestones come only weeks after BMB soft-launched AdhFix at the World Veterinary Orthopaedic Congress (WVOC) in Rome in September, and mark BMB's step from product launch to commercial sales.

The agreement gives the distributor exclusive rights to sell AdhFix to veterinary clinics and hospitals across Italy, one of Europe's key veterinary markets. With three decades in the Italian market, the partner will lead the commercial rollout, with first deliveries expected in early 2027.

Bonevolent® AdhFix is a patented, mouldable composite that the surgeon shapes directly on the bone during surgery. Anchored with bone screws, it replaces the pre-formed metal plate with a fixator tailored to each fracture and cured in place with light.

"We soft-launched AdhFix to the veterinary orthopaedic community at WVOC in Rome in September, and only weeks later an experienced Italian distributor has committed to it with an exclusive agreement," says Michael Malkoch, CEO of BMB. "That pace tells us how much the field needs an alternative to metal plating. Surgeons want a fixation they can shape to the fracture, not a plate they first have to find on the shelf and then bend and even cut to fit."

BMB continues to build its European presence through a combination of direct sales and selected distribution partners. The name of the Italian distributor will be announced at a later stage.

Veterinary clinics in Italy that want to be among the first to use AdhFix are welcome to contact BMB at info@biomedicalbonding.com.
